AVIATION MEDICINE

Dr Kelly Bofkin is our Designated Aviation Medical Examiner at East Sydney Doctors.

Kelly obtained the Australian Certificate of Civil Aviation Medicine (ACCAM) through Monash University, for which she was joint Dux of the course and received the Westerman Prize in Aviation Medicine. Kelly sits on the board of the Australasian Society of Aviation Medicine (ASAM) and is part of the Aerospace Medicine Training Program (AMTP) between VA, QF and CASA.

As a DAME, Kelly offers initial and renewal Aviation Medicals to Pilots and Air Traffic Controllers (Classes 1, 2 and 3), fitness to fly certification and Basic Class 2 Medicals. Standard initial and renewal appointments for Class 1-3 medicals are 1 hour long.
