
DR SAMUEL SALTOON
REGISTRAR
Sam graduated from the University of Newcastle and has recently moved to Sydney. He has a strong interest in sexual health, women's health, mental health and preventative medicine. Sam is an HIV S100 prescriber (for HIV medication and PrEP) and has completed his OTAC addiction medicine training. He enjoys working with marginalized populations, being recently returned from working at an Aboriginal Medical Service in regional NSW, as well as previously working through the Forensic Hospital and Kirketon Road Centre.
Sam loves learning about new cultures and travelling, which has taken him to work in Emergency in South Africa, the Philippines and in homeless healthcare in London. He aims to bring a compassionate, empathetic and preventative approach to all his patients.
In his spare time, Sam enjoys baking, heading outside and soaking up the sun at the beach or on a hike.
