DR CRAIG RODGERS

B. Med FRACGP FAChAM

Craig Rodgers has been working as a GP in the inner city since completing his FRACGP exam in 2000. He initially worked with Dr Marilyn McMurchie until they both joined East Sydney Doctors (formerly 407 Doctors) in 2002. He also currently works for Alcohol and Drug Service at St Vincent’s Hospital and enjoyed ten years as the Medical Unit Manager of the Kirketon Road Centre in Kings Cross where he provided HIV prevention, treatment and care to ‘at risk’ young people, sex workers and people who inject drugs (PWID).

He also completed a Masters in Public Health at the University of New South Wales in 2005 and is a Conjoint Lecturer in their School of Public Health and Community Medicine. He also does work for the Australasian Society of HIV Medicine (ASHM) as a Clinical Advisor and contributes regularly to their training programs as well as to the further education of General Practice registrars and medical students.

As a GP at East Sydney doctors he enjoys the diversity of work that is on offer but does have particular interests in HIV, hepatitis C and sexual health in addition to his work in drug and alcohol.

 

Dr Rodgers is unfortunately not able to see new patients and he currently only works one Saturday morning per month. Please call reception for appointment times.
