April’s ‘Landscapes’ collection takes you on a visceral journey through the Australian hinterland, from Lake Eucumbene to Cave Beach and beyond; her devotion for capturing nuances of light and tone are masterfully executed with sensitivity and fine craftsmanship. White has created a coalescent and cohesive body of small works, each one radiant like a precious broach.

Leon Fernandes will also be exhibiting a limited collection of Byron Bay Hinterlandscape embroideries exploring hyper-real depictions of Bundjalung country – an area he’s been fascinated with over the last two decades, representing a portal between real and imagined worlds, a connection deeply enriched by time spent there with his two young sons. These works have been imagined with a utopian depiction of our special place in the world with their perception of child-like wonder and magic in mind.
