DR MAY SU

BSc(Med) MBBS MMH (GP) FRACGP

May is a General Practitioner (GP); GP Supervisor and the Academic Lead (GP) at HETI, Higher
Education, Master of Psychiatric Program.


In addition to the breadth of General Practice, May has specific interests in complex care, mental
health, womens’ health, sexual health and children, including psychotherapeutic supports and care
for these groups. She is accredited for IUD and implanon insertion.


Being interested in preventative health, May is passionate about improved community education
and awareness. She has developed and facilitated educational seminars on health related issues to
the public and at a professional level. These include topics on early childhood health and
development, post natal anxiety and depression, complex care and family abuse and violence.

 

She coordinates and facilitates teaching for the Masters of Psychiatric Medicine Program, HETI HE and
for specialised skills training in post graduate mental health. May is happy to see other health
professionals and academics.
