My Story...

Doctor Shannon Twomey initially earned university degrees in finance and economics before pursuing a career in medicine, obtaining his medical degree from the University of Melbourne. He subsequently worked across several tertiary hospitals in Victoria before relocating to Sydney to work in general practice. 

 

He has a particular interest in women’s health, fertility, pregnancy and paediatrics. He holds a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and is an antenatal shared care provider with the Royal Hospital for Women. His broader clinical interests include lifestyle and preventative medicine, LGBTQIA+ and gender-diverse health, sexual health, and men’s health. 

 

Outside of medicine, Shannon enjoys working out, ocean swimming and long walks with a coffee in hand.
